and not be moved by You?

It's almost midnight, I have a basketball match to ref tomorrow and my face is thickkkk with makeup, but I'm not complaining :) The St Andrew's School Nativity Play ended a few hours ago and I must say, it was definitely the best one I've watched in a long time. It was really full of essence with a message that was clear; about the history behind SAS. Watching the full dress rehearsal on Saturday and remembering all the times we took for granted the sport houses Cornwall, Hollis, Macdougall, Danson, I saw a totally different side to it and it made me appreciate it a whole lot more eventhough I'm not in that school anymore..

About half an hour of makeup done man. OK I'm gonna post pictures up later. I was so scared to look at the mirror I swear, but I loved it :) Thanks Aunty Cecilia and Kay (sp?) for the super awesome job. Pictures like probably tomorrow or something.

Best part was how we knew that we only had two practices yet we were able to pull it off :) with something so supernatural like that, how can anyone ever boast? It was really all for Him man. I had super fun doing the mime, I miss doing things like that :) Haha so smiley this post! Anyways, it's past midnight now, my dad just got the shock of his life after he saw my fancy shmancy eyes, and I've got a busy week tomorrow! LOVE and goodnight!

frazzle dazzle

11 days more! =D I'm excited, can you feel it!? Everyone seems to be having free lessons or not even going to school now, I mean besides my schoolmates.. Do you remember those days where after the end of year exams and papers come back, we just bring games to school or spend our lessons in Nativity Play practices? (I think it's safe to say, only St Andrew's students know what this feels) Oh man, it's so different now, because we're doing the second year syllabus and the workload isn't getting any lighter either.

I'm listening to all these songs by Alicia Keys now. She is still the bomb.

Yesterday after English class, Mrs Saunders asked me if I was free but I had Accounting after that.. then she asked me to see her during recess. And I'm like, what did I do! Hahaha I think I need a new mindset on how I react to people who ask me things like that. *can I see you outside now, Ting* HAHAHA anyways, to my surprise/opposite!, she asked me to write an entry for the The Commonwealth Essay Competition. The topics from my year are ridiculous; (go take a look at them) but the ones for the younger kids are so nice!!! I would definitely love writing a story about a morning where I woke up as the family pet or even this one (this, was brilliant): “You have to have a dream or you go nowhere.” (Kofi Annan) It's due in March 2008, so we have the whole of December to brainstorm and just roughly get ready what we're gonna write about. Mm, pretty much can't wait!

Friday's and today's message/service was really really awesome, for both on a personal note, family and as well as the New Generation at school. Even though not everyone gets to meet at the same time, I believe God is already opening doors, and that He will do even greater things as we pray. There was this great sense of confirmation today during service :) We're believing for specific miracles to happen during the next 1week+ that we have before the school year ends, as we press on, as we remember that with "every time we pray, Jesus is coming one step closer to our school". No prayer = nothing. Jeremy was reminding us during SUCCESS group on Thursday how like during mission trips, we're so convinced that the things we're doing is God's will. We're always full of faith, and we don't fear. Like how when we hear a voice, we don't think twice, we know it's from God. Because you're just that close to Him.

Full of faith, we never fear.

Konichiwa!

Last Friday after Acts, Victoria, Angel and I decided to go to the book fair at Muara Port because the both of them still had not gone yet then and it was last day of them being there so we made our way before 6.

A view of the ship from the outside

I met this girl from Germany about a week ago on Sunday, and she remembered me! I had to look at her really closely to remember who she was, and she had been working since noon (it was about 7 then) and she was super exhausted but took so many pictures with little kids and there was this guy, who even asked, "how much would you sell your shoes for?"

I have always been looking for little things like these to attach on my mobile phone :) Well the ones that are sold here are either over priced or just ugly. Everytime I'm in Singapore (which is not very often, pitifully) I always forget to find all these little things thinking that I might not really need it, 'cause I'm always on budget even though they are found everywhere there. I got this and another two, one's a little cat and a duck (super cute I tell you!) for about BND4? My friend ordered it for us from this Malaysian teen-mag.

Also, I was in Winmark the other day and buying some Pocky sticks where I saw this really cute strawberry-chocolate candy thing. It was the packaging that caught my eye :P A friend of mine told me that they sell these in packs in Supa Save, and even though it was ridiculously expensive, I bought a pack!

Heehee.. Look how cute it is!
I'm pretty sure all these Japanese snacks and whatnots get the attention from their consumers through the packaging.. Esh. Marketing Mix! But thank goodness their standards are rather high, so what's on the outside, is as good as what's on the inside too.

!!!!

  • Fergalicious! hahahaha. (so delicious)! Azymah Buggatop was singing that today during lunch when I passed her by.
  • Maths (afternoon) class was cancelled and Miss D is preggers!
  • I made my first school announcement over the PA System today! I was so happy!
  • ..eventhough I wasn't supposed to initially. Jon didn't want to do it so passed it over to Amirul who was lazy so he gave the 'job' to me. I was really ecstatic because it was my first time!
  • Although it sounded like I was running after a train,
  • it was 'Spontaneous' according to the student council president :)
  • Teachers Day for PTE Berakas is on the 28th of this month. I'll be refereeing the teachers/students basketball friendly match in the morning (which I'm not sure how to yet) and emceeing during the event itself.

they will see and realize, that
GOD is SO REAL
they will begin to believe, that
GOD will SAVE their friends and families
and they will know
that for GOD, there is nothing TOO BIG
or too INSIGNIFICANT
for Him to do, and for those who believe
